Privacy Policy
Bloomfield Lending · BloomOS · Last updated August 25, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Bloomfield Lending (“Bloomfield Lending”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects personal information through our mortgage services and the BloomOS platform, including our text message (SMS) communications.
1. Who this policy covers
This policy applies to people who interact with Bloomfield Lending and BloomOS, including mortgage applicants and borrowers, real estate and referral partners, website and borrower portal visitors, and job applicants and employees who receive account setup or onboarding communications.
2. Information we collect
- Contact information you provide, such as name, email address, mailing address, and mobile or landline phone number.
- Mortgage application information you or your authorized representative submit, such as employment, income, assets, liabilities, property details, and supporting documents you upload.
- Communication records, including messages you exchange with us in the borrower portal, email, and text messages, and — where you have been notified and consent is obtained as required — call recordings and transcripts.
- Employment and recruiting information for job applicants and employees, such as contact details and information needed to create and secure a BloomOS account.
- Technical information needed to operate and secure the platform, such as authentication events and audit logs.
We collect information directly from you, from people you authorize to act on your behalf, and from service providers and consumer reporting agencies used in the mortgage process when you have authorized that use.
3. How we use information
- To evaluate, process, and service mortgage inquiries and loan applications.
- To communicate with you about your inquiry, application, documents, appointments, and loan status.
- To provide access to the BloomOS borrower portal and employee workspace, including account setup and account recovery.
- To provide customer service and respond to your questions.
- To recruit, onboard, and support employees.
- To meet legal, regulatory, recordkeeping, and audit obligations.
- To send marketing or promotional communications where you have provided the appropriate consent for that channel.
4. Text message (SMS) communications and consent
Mobile phone numbers and SMS opt-in or consent information are not sold, rented, leased, or shared with any third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. SMS opt-in data and consent will not be shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
We may use service providers — such as our messaging carrier and platform vendors — strictly as necessary to deliver communications and provide services on our behalf. Those providers are not permitted to use your mobile number or consent information for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
- Message frequency may vary depending on your activity and the status of your inquiry, application, or account.
- Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier’s standard rates apply to messages you send and receive.
- You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message from us. After you reply STOP, we will stop sending text messages to that number, except for a single confirmation that you have been unsubscribed.
- You can reply HELP to any message for assistance, or contact us using the details below.
- Consent to receive marketing text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services from Bloomfield Lending.
Providing a phone number to us does not by itself enroll you in marketing text messages. Marketing or promotional text messages are only sent where the appropriate consent has been recorded for that recipient. Transactional messages — such as an account setup or account recovery link, a one-time sign-in code, a document request, or a loan status update — are sent in connection with a service you or your employer requested.
Details of the message categories covered by our program are described in our SMS Program Terms.
6. How we protect information
Access to information in BloomOS is restricted to authorized users and is enforced by authentication, role and permission checks, and per-record access rules. Sensitive actions are logged, and sensitive fields are masked in the interface unless a user has a specific need and permission to view them.
7. Retention
We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide our services and to satisfy the legal, regulatory, and recordkeeping obligations that apply to mortgage lending and employment records, after which it is deleted or archived in accordance with those obligations.
8. Your choices
- Text messages: reply STOP to opt out, or HELP for assistance.
- Email: use the unsubscribe link in a marketing email, or contact us.
- Access and correction: contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information, subject to legal and recordkeeping requirements.
9. Children
Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
10. Contact us about privacy
For privacy questions, opt-out help, or requests about your information, contact Bloomfield Lending at support@shoolalabs.com. Please include the best way to reach you so we can respond.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above reflects the most recent version.
